Twenty Years of Priesting
I’ve been at this priesting gig for 20 years now, as of today. It’s been a long road, but a joyful one.

The TL;DR is this: it doesn’t really matter what you do, it matters that you help others along the way.
Build bridges, and open gates.

Imbolc Hope
Last night, I left my scarf out on Imbolc Eve to be there for the blessing of Brigid as she came by. These blessings are open to anyone who seeks them, and so I say: be open to the blessings that come your way, and find yourself brightened and blessed in the dawn of the spring. Many of us are covered in snow, but there are crocuses and…

New Year, New Roads
Last night, @RevJanAvende and I sat down and recorded a new episode of Druids In Cars, Going To Festivals, the podcast we started many years ago that became sort of difficult to maintain with recent life changes. The good news? Looks like it’s coming back. 🙂
Guess I need to get back to editing 🙂

I’ve been listening over all the episodes recently, and was kind of sad when I reached the end and I’m very happy there’s going to be more!

I’m so stinkin’ excited! (Also, we should maybe record a new spoken intro, since a lot has changed? Keep the theme song though!)

Toast: To friends who keep me learning, and who are still there when I find my way out of a hiatus.
Boast: Sent a new book off to the printer last night, so that’s exciting 🙂 More to come on that.

17 years ago at the Midnight Flame festival, I wrote this Earth Mother prayer:
On an island in the sea,
Within a sacred grove,
Your wagon awaits your ascension. As the cows pull you forth,
War ends, swords are sheathed,
Quiet descends.Nerthus, you move among us
Bathed in our joy for you.
Know our presence as we know ours.Nerthus, accept our sacrifice.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful prayer.
