The Grove Coordinating Committee ensures that ADF groves and protogroves meet the minimum standards of reporting, membership, etc. Without anyone checking on this the standards would be meaningless. The GCC is part of the Council of Senior Druids and is defined more fully in the CoSD By-Laws.

Prior to the GCC, many potential new members had unpleasant experiences contacting groves that had become defunct without informing ADF. The GCC helps to prevent this from happening, performing the important and difficult work of ensuring a minimum level of quality for ADF's local congregations.
