[20:20] <Silver> Not really  >.>;  I want to be more active in the Druidic community. I joined back in '11, but the closest protogrove is a 3hr drive so I figured I'd check out this option

[20:22] <Rovena> A course you could tell everyone how much fun you had here and get them to join us.
[20:23] [Owlhawk] the ritual is arranged  ahead of time and web cams are used to make it a group experience. You don't need a web cam to join in.

[20:38] <SamFox> I have a question about the dedicant path weekly exercises. I'm on week 3 but I have some time to wait until the next high day. What would you's suggest I look into in the mean time?
[20:38] <Rovena> We are an unofficial sanctuary.  We fix the adults as fast as we can tame them enough
[20:39] <Rovena> Dangler's book is unofficial though many find it very helpful.  Do wantever you are interested in
[20:39] [Owlhawk] I didn't use Dangler's book for my DP
[20:39] <Rovena> You could research the meaning for Winter Solstice

[20:40] <Rovena> Some people swear by it and other feel differently about it
[20:41] [Owlhawk] I found the DP to be mostly review so it wasn't all that hard for me once I found the time to work on it

[20:41] <Rovena> That is my problem - - finding the time
[20:42] <Silver> Yeah, I've been so busy, that even though I've been a member for a few years, I haven't even thought about starting the DP

[20:47] <SamFox> I'm on he road a lot doing very long over-night shifts, I've been applying for other positions lately. Teacher, that's pretty cool
[20:48] <Silver> Math and English Remediation. Our state has a test for different subjects and you have to pass so many to get your HS diploma. I see the kids who can't pass. I also teach at an online high school
[20:48] <Rovena> Cool.  Back in the day I taught grades 7 thru 12 social studies

[20:50] <Rovena> It was fun.  I enjoyed it
[20:51] <Silver> I love teaching, and the online environment has a lot of good points. But the polictics is really dragging me down.

[20:56] [Owlhawk] it's never been an issue to me. The Gods are not bound to one country
[20:56] <Rovena> The Celts were travelers.  They took their culture with them
[20:57] <Silver> I agree they're not tied to a country per say, but they are in so many ways tied to the land. So it's something I sometimes wonder about. I suppose they could "travel" as their people did

[20:59] <Rovena> When you look at the history you will see that the Gods are found every where the Celts went.  The names are so similar

[20:59] <SamFox> Went to school in Scotland, lived but I was really really young when we moved and I don't remember much. Wherever my family is feels right. I agree, I feel like they travel with us.
