My path in ADF began with Sonoran Sunrise Grove in Tucson, AZ and I am now the Senior Druid of Feather River Grove, ADF in Chico, CA. In 2008 I was made a Dedicant Priest of ADF. I currently serve ADF as a Priest, the Northwest Regional Druid, the Deputy Chief of the Council of Regional Druids, and as an Officer at Large on the Clergy Council. I've served ADF in a number of ways over the years, as ADF's Regalia Manager from 2006 to 2009, as the Deputy Northwest Regional Druid 2008-2009, as the organizer for ADF's Festival Organizer's Handbook (to be released 2010), and as the organizer for ADF's new Grove Organizer's Handbook (also to be released 2010). My current projects with ADF include further development of the Druid Scouts program, participation in the Military Outreach Program, research into the Avestan (Indo-Iranian) hearth culture as it relates to ADF and the creation of a new pilot program for planting new Protogroves in the Northwest region. I also continue to actively contribute work to our quarterly publication, Oak Leaves. To see some of this work please take a look at my WIKI page at: http://www.adf.org/cgi-bin/adf/wiki/view/Main/JessieOlson I currently work for my county as a Veterans Service Representative, serve on the board of directors for our local homeless veterans' housing, participate in the Chico area homeless task force, and volunteer as a counselor at our local vet center. I am also a member of the county's environmental and interfaith councils and have worked in the non-profit sector as a charity event coordinator, fund raising coordinator and conflict negotiator. I have also had extensive experience in retail business management and personnel development. I reside in Corning, CA with my life-partner Craig, our dog, and three cats. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and am preparing to enter a PhD program in 2011. I hope to use my skills and knowledge to the betterment of ADF. I am very interested in hearing your suggestions about how we can all work together to improve ADF for our membership. ~Rev.
