I decided to teach them incense making, but for that, I needed to learn it myself. Finding Cunningham's book led me to all the other Pagan books and my first Wiccan coven. They taught me the basics of magick, and led me to my first Pagan festival where I met Isaac Bonewits. I was immediately seduced by the idea of the Study Program, as outlined in Druid's Progress #2, and joined ADF. Of course, Isaac's sense of humor had nothing to do with it... Today, I hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, and enjoy teaching programming at a technical college. I practice ninjutsu (japaneese martial art), play the Irish tin flute and worship the Norse deities. I am one of the four founders of the Montreal Open Circle, started at Samhain 1990, and head of their Networking Comittee. I also co-lead a bardic group at the Concordia University Pagan Society and teach Ukrainian egg painting every Spring there. Silver Fox protogrove was born in 1993, and I've been striving to make it work since then. It has not been easy. We started with two people, went up to a dozen, came down to three and are now up to a dozen again. This time however, we have some truly dedicated people and I have learned a lot from my mistakes. I've had time to learn a lot about Druidism, magick, and I now act as a teacher and priestess, rather than study group organizer. At the international level, I am on the Warrior's Guild council and participating in the developpment of the Guild's study system. I am also a member of the Bardic Guild, and progressing through the levels as a singer and musician. View all articles written by Paradox
