Leader Bio: Monica Lake

About Me

I was born in Wyoming and joined the U.S.A.F. after high school. I got out of the service in 1993 to marry my Army husband. I have lived in Crete, Greece, Hawaii, Ft. Meade, MD, Ft. Belvoir, VA, and our current location: Ft. Huachuca, AZ. I have two sons (18 & 12) and 3 cats and 3 dogs. We own a house on 4 acres where I enjoy watching the wildlife.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science to hopefully make a career change that indulges my love of nature.

I worked as the bookkeeper and office manager for a non-profit organization from 2001-2003. I applied for the ADF Treasurer position because I felt I needed to do my part for the organization.

How I Came to ADF

I realized I was pagan in November 2000 and joined ADF in March 2001. I began by joining local Wiccans for ritual and eventually found Sonoran Sunrise Grove in Tucson. I have really enjoyed the fellowship and scholarship of ADF and hope to start working on the study programs soon.
