Grey BadgerWho am I?A third generation native Oregonian, I was born in 1952 and raise in Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. From 1968 through 1979 I worked for both the Oregon Department of Forestry and one of the rural fire departments in the Rogue Valley. In 1980 I started college at Southern Oregon University and graduated in 1985 with a BS in Education and a minor in English literature. My post graduate education includes work in educational administration, communications and linguistics. After several years working in public schools (including 2 years with a very rural school located along the McKenzie River in the Willamette National Forest), I left teaching to become a freelance writer. At present I am the Transfer Shipping Coordinator for major gift fruit corporation. I am married with two adult children both of whom have chosen the pagan path. Why ADF?I began my study of comparative religions in the mid-60s. Over the intervening 30 plus years I explored many faiths including Shinto Buddhism and Native American spirituality. I became increasingly interested in Druidism but was unable to find much information on their practices. In 1999, I was a solitary nondenominational pagan when I discovered the ADF. Since joining the ADF, I have at last found my spiritual path, and I have met and made many life long friends. What I do in ADF?I'm presently serving as the Senior Druid of the Rogue River Grove located in southern Oregon.
