Who Am I?

Originally from Minnesota, my family moved to Oregon in 1970 after purchasing a working cattle ranch. I have a college degree in general business which I paid for by fighting forest fires and manning lookouts for the Oregon Department of Forestry. In addition to being a Reiki Master, I also have a background in ceremonial magic. When I have the time, I compete in three day equestrian eventing as well as volunteer for a variety of animal rescue organizations including our Grove's own community service project, Rogue Rescue

Why ADF?

Like so many others, I craved a connection to our Mother Earth and my European ancestors. For years before joining ADF, which was back in 1999, I was a solitary nondenominational pagan simply because of the lack of readily available information on alternative spiritualities. I finally found what I was searching for in ADF and in the friendships I have made here.

What I do in ADF

Currently, I am serving as the Chair of the Grove Organizing Committee as well as a Dedicant mentor. I have served as the Northwest Regional Druid. Additionally, I am the past Senior Druid of the Clan of the Triplehorses Grove, which is located in southern Oregon.

Having lived in the Pacific Northwest over thirty years, I know there are many people out here who feel isolated because of the conservative, rural nature of the West. With my experiences both as a solitary and as part of a grove, my goal continues to be to facilitate the exchange of information so like-minded people can find each other and support each other.
